How Many Bundles of Shingles in a Square?
A roofing square is 100 square feet. Most standard architectural asphalt shingles are packed 3 bundles per square, so one bundle covers about 33.3 square feet. Some heavier designer shingles take 4 or 5 bundles per square — the wrapper tells you.
